ABOUT US
We are a small hobby ranch on the outskirts of Caldwell, Idaho. We breed and raise fullblood, purebred & percentage ABGA. Since 2011 we have concentrated our focus and resources on improving our breeding program with quality stock. Our efforts have been to continually improve on breed characteristics such as bone, muscle mass, width and rate of gain to name a few. Color, QUALITY color, is our goal. Bio-security screening is important to us and we routinely test our herd for CAE, CL & Johne's disease. Any new stock brought to the ranch is tested and kept in quarantine until results are received.
**All of our tests have come back 100% clean and negative of CL, CAE and Johne's from WADDL. Our most recent complete herd test was on March 31, 2020**

Pleasant Willow Ranch proudly breeds and sells ABGA Fullblood, Purebred, percentages and commercial Boer goats. We strive to produce a breeding stock with high caliber genetics, muscle and large bone. All of our kids, born here at Pleasant Willow, receive lots of human interaction from the day they are born and we pride ourselves on the friendly disposition our goats possess.
Our goal is to produce a quality and correct breeding stock that looks beautiful in your pasture! Each year we improve our lines by breeding does and bucks that have proven sustainable genetics (weight gain with little added measures) and those that display a proper gentle demeanor. We use the beautiful Nubian breed to cross for color, length, udder correctness and milky lines. We strive for show quality in our confirmation, strong milk production and maternal instincts as well as parasite resistance.
Only our high percentage correct bucklings will be available for sale as breeding Bucks. We do offer market wethers to 4H kids.
Our 2021 kidding schedule began in January......Stay tuned for some wonderful color!
(Our goats are pictured in their natural beauty and environment. Meaning we do not typically bathe, clip or pose our goats for photographs.)
